About PAPR
The Print Archives Preservation Registry (PAPR) supports libraries and research institutions participating in shared print preservation and collective collection building.
PAPR brings together bibliographic, holdings, and retention commitment data for print serials and journals. Libraries use this information to:
- Coordinate preservation commitments and reduce unnecessary duplication
- Make informed collection-management and withdrawal decisions
- Identify where preserved copies are held
- Support regional, national, and international shared print initiatives
