University of Missouri Library Depositories

Facility Description

The first module of the University of Missouri Libraries Depository (UMLD) was established in 1997 as a facility for the storage of important, but infrequently used, research library materials. The second module of UMLD (U2) is currently closed due to mold. The UMLD is designed to provide high-density shelving for library materials in an excellent climate controlled environment that will preserve the integrity of the materials for future generations
