Facility Description

The High Density Library Facility project (FLARE) has yet to be fully funded. We first began investigating this idea in 2007, with preliminary plans submitted to the Board of Governors (BOG). In 2010, we received planning money to investigate and develop full construction plans for a high-density facility. As a result, the FLARE project is shovel ready. The design calls for a 10 aisle system, with a capacity of 5.2 million volumes. The anticipated cost is $26.7 million, with a construction timeline of 18-24
