Program Description

The Western Regional Storage Trust (WEST) is a distributed print journal repository program in the Western Region of the United States. WEST has 69 members from sixteen states concentrated in the Western and Southwestern states. WEST’s committed volumes are housed in a variety of environmental conditions and facilities. Volumes at lower risk for loss are housed on publically accessible library shelves, while those at higher risk are kept in secure, controlled facilities.
