Empire Shared Collection
The Empire Shared Collection started in June 2014. It is a collaborative print depository in Western New York. No duplication of titles is allowed within the repository. They have started with committing the University at Buffalo Libraries Annex collections to the project. Governance is provided in part by the ESCP Steering committee consisting of one representative from each Participating Library. An MOU is in use but is not publically disclosed. ESCR is funded through annual member fees.

Selection: Seldom-used serial-type materials. The ESCR collection has been based on the overlap of serial holdings between the participating members and the materials housed in the UB Annex. Next to be committed are Annex materials that are not part of the overlap.
