Keep@Downsview

Program Description

Five academic libraries in Ontario, Canada : University of Toronto. Western University, McMaster University, Queen's University, and University of Ottawa, are developing a Print archive project that will retain low-use print materials through a shared preservation storage project at the University of Toronto’s Downsview facility. The libraries share the capital and administrative costs of storing and maintaining one shared preservation copy at the University of Toronto Libraries at Downsview. The project leverages existing UTL facilities, expertise, and resources to provide timely access to the stored scholarly record by direct loan or digital surrogate.
