UNC Share Print Initiative
UNC Asheville was awarded a grant to be used to partner with 12 other UNC System libraries in creating an infrastructure for long-term preservation of monographs as part of a shared collection. Partners are at these UNC System schools: Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, NC A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, UNC Asheville, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, UNC Pembroke, UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina University and Winston-Salem State University.

Selection: The program plans to use Sustainable Collection Services (SCS) GreenGlass analysis tool to develop a list. All the titles being considered for retention are circulating (although some of them may be housed on off-site storage facilities either now or in the future). This will be a shareable collection.
