Facility Description
This facility is owned and operated by the Univ. of California and is located on the grounds of UC Berkeley's Richmond Field Station. Initial state funding for NRLF was provided in 1981 and began operation in 1983. There are currently three modules built with a 7.4 million volume capacity. A fourth module will be completed in Fall 2020 with capacity for 3.1 mill volumes.
